Lucinda Hammons Herrington was born in Clay County KY, April 3, 1880. Passed away Dec 4, 1943, at the home of Jess Smith near Huntsville, AR age 63 years, 8 months, and 1 day. Sister Herrington came with her parents, Mr and Mrs Wm Hammons to AR when she was 3 years old. In early life she accepted Christ and joined the Missionary Baptist Church at Spring Vally. Moved her membership to Smyrna about 21 years ago. She lived a devoted Christian life since her conversion. She was untied in marriage to A L Herrington, May 20, 1922. She was a devoted wife and a loving stepmother. She is survived hy her husband and 5 step children, Walter of Kansas City, Ks, Louis of Wichita, KS, Mrs. Frank Warren, Huntsville, Mrs. Tipton Collins of Hindsville, Frank Herrington of Huntsville. brothers Dan Hammons of Huntsville, AR, Clabe Hammons of Siloam Springs, AR Sister Mrs Ludie Youngman of Springdale, Mrs John Phillips of Springdale, AR, Mrs Kate McGinnis of Hindsville, and Mrs. Dru Bunting of Utleyville, CO
