Died February 27, 1937, Herron, Baxter County, Arkansas.
Husband of Becky Skeef Miller.
Note: Gravestone has a death date of 1936; however, an obituary carried in the March 5, 1937, issue of the Baxter Bulletin indicated that he died February 27, 1937.

Buried at the Galtia Cemetery, Benjamin Franklin Stevens. He was born February 8, 1859, died February 27, 1937, leaving widow, one son living, Johnnie Stevens of Wiseman, Arkansas. One brother living Francis Stevens of New Port, Arkansas, four step daughters, 31 granchildren and 37 great grandchildren. His belief was in the Methodist orginazation. He had two brothers who were Methodist ministers. He was a good citizen and was a good man and was loved by everyone who knew him. We will all miss him so much. He had made his home near Herron Switch for over 18 years.
