Mrs. Irene Chambliss, 61, of Hobbs, N.M., formerly of Hampton, died Friday in Hobbs. Services were held at 2 p.m. today at Lakeside Methodist Church with burial to follow in Lakeside Cemetery under the direction of Proctor Funeral Home. Mrs. Chambliss was a member of the Church of Christ. Survivors are her husband, Fred Chambliss; a son, James Chambliss of El Paso, Tex.; two daughters, Mrs. Sylvia Hill of Hobbs and Mrs. Glenda Sides of Austin, Tex.; a brother, Bill Alexander of Camden; a sister, Mrs. Aubrey Ables of Hampton; and seven grandchildren.
