NEWTON, Eliza T. DEEN - Mrs. R.A. Newton, after having been afflicted for some time, died at her home at Beaty Sunday, Feb. 13, 1916. Miss Eliza T. Deen was born near Bradley, Taney Co., Mo. in 1860. At the age of 20 years she was married to Robert A. Newton and lived there until 1910 when they moved to Springdale, Ark. and in 1912 moved to Beaty, Ark. She leaves her husband and 7 children, the latter being B.M. Newton, Beaty, Ark.; Mrs. Maudie E. Betchel, Carthage, Mo.; B.H. Newton and Joe Newton, Smallette, Mo.; Henry W. Newton, Marble Rock, Iowa; Miss Allie M. and Lonnie M. Newton, Beaty.

NEWTON, Louisa T. DEEN - Louisa T. Deen was born July 12, 1860 at Bradleyville, Taney Co., Mo. and died at her home near Beaty, Ark. Feb. 13, 1916, aged 55 years, 7 months and 1 day. At the age of 19 she was united in marriage to Robert A. Newton. to this union 8 children were born; six boys and two girls. Rosco, a son, passed away at the age of 19. The living are: Ben and Joe of Smallette, Mo.; Henry of Marble Rock, Iowa; Mrs. Maude Betchel of Carthage, Mo.; Baxter, Lonnie and Allie of Beaty. In 1901, she with her husband and family, moved to New Mexico; in 1910 removed to Springdale, Ark.; lived there till 1912 when they moved to Beaty, Ark., their present home. At the age of 30 years she united with the Christian church and lived a consistent member of that faith until death. She leaves a host of friends who sympathize with the bereaved husband and children. A Friend.
