Vera Brunson, 97, of Walnut Ridge passed away Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at Lawrence Hall Nursing Center. She was born February 14, 1921 at the Fender Community to Thomas and Anna Anderson Fender. She married Lloyd Brunson on February 16, 1943 at Jonesboro. She was a teacher and of the Baptist belief.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; sons, Jim Brunson and Phillip Brunson; sisters, Blanche Weir, Glenna Montgomery, and Doris Wyatt; and brothers, Elton Fender, Johnny Fender, Doug Fender, and Jack Fender.

She is survived by a son, Donald Brunson (Rosemary) of Walnut Ridge; grandchildren, Amber Brunson, Zach Brunson, and Josh Brunson; and five great grandchildren.
