MARLOW, Susanna Kerr - Mrs. Susanna Kerr Marlow was born in Fountain county, Ind. August 21, 1841 and died at her home at Rogers, Ark. July 3, 1919 at the age of 77 years, 11 months and 12 days. Burial at Oakley Chapel. She was married to Isome Marlow in the month of March in the year 1863 and to this union were born eight children, seven girls: Mary Marlow of Rogers; Mrs. Rosa Coghill, Danberry, Neb.; Mrs. Cora Emmans, Attica, Ind.; Mrs. Della Whitmore of Rogers; Mrs. Stella Blevins, Lemark, Mont.; Mrs Grace Kelly, Cave Springs, Ark.; and one son, Edward Marlow, Dodge City, Kan. The husband left this world 10 years ago and one daughter took her transition about 15 years ago at the age of 25 years. A family of six daughters and one son and about eight grandchildren remain to mourn the loss of an earthly mother, but thank God, while they mourn the earthly loss they rejoice with those who have the hope that grows to fruition. Sister Marlow was converted and joined the M.E. church when a girl of 14 years and lived a devoted Christian life until the earthly career ceased in the flesh. This good woman came with her husband to Rogers some 30 years ago, lived here but a short time and then went to the farm near this place of burial and about seven years ago returned to Rogers to remain until the summons.

*NOTE: Obit has her birthdate as Aug 21 1841
