JACKSON, John B. - John B. Jackson, aged 62, died at his home in the Droke community early Tuesday night following an illness from heart trouble. Funeral services were held at Oakley Chapel this afternoon, the Rev. J.A. Womack of Van Buren conducting the services. Mr. Jackson was born near Bentonville in 1870. He lived in this vicinity the greater part of his life. He was married to Miss Emma Kelton who lived near Bentonville. He was well known and highly respected. Besides his widow he is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Wayne Brandon of Rogers; two brothers, Will Jackson of Bentonville and Robert Jackson of Highfill; by three sisters, Mrs. Allie Smith of Highfill, Mrs. Margaret Sumpter of Kansas City and Mrs. John Riley of Rogers.

John B. Jackson, 62, died at his home four miles west of Rogers on highway 71 at 7:30 Tuesday night after an illness which began last October. Funeral service will be held at Oakley's Chapel Thursday afternoon at 2:30 with the Rev. J.A. Womack of Van Buren, a former pastor, officiating. Burial arrangements are in charge of J.W. Bryant. Mr. Jackson was born in Bentonville and moved to Oklahoma where he lived for a few years. Later he moved to Fort Smith and then to the Droke community. Surviving are the widow, one daughter, Mrs. Wayne Brandon of Rogers, two brothers, Bob Jackson of Highfill and Will Jackson of Bentonville, three sisters, Mrs. Allie Smith, Highfill, Mrs. Margaret Sumpter, Kansas City and Mrs. John Riley, Rogers; and five grandchildren, Roberta, Jackene and J.B. Hammock, all of Rogers, and Betty and Richard Jackson of Kansas City.

Rogers — Mrs. Emma K. Jackson, 98, of 516 S, 4th St., died Sunday in a local nursing home. She was born March 3, 1870 in Abilene, Kan., and was a retired school teacher and a Methodist.

Survivors are one daughter, Mrs. Wayne Brandon of Rogers, one sister, Mrs, Susanne Mathews of Tulsa; eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral service wilt he at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Callison Chapel with burial in Oakley's Chapel Cemetery.
