Willaim Estel 'Bill' Weaver, 75, of Guion died this morning in a Batesville hospital.
He was a retired owner of the Weaver Grocery Store and the Guion Water Co. He served also as justice of peace and on Guion City Council and was a member of the Guion Church of Christ, where he taught Sunday school for 20 years.
Survivors include his wife, Bonnie Arnold Weaver of the home; a son Donald Weaver of Guion; four daughters, Marion Rebecca Sewell of Southaven, MS, Mrs. Vivian Waters of Marshall, Mrs. Lucinda Nelson of McHue and Mrs. Benice Brown of Hendrickeson, MO; 10 grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.
Graveside services will begin at Galatia Cemetery near Calico Rock Saturday at 2PM with Robert T. Waters officiating. Burial will be in the Galatia Cemetery in Izard County under the direction of the Davies Batesville Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Bob Sewell, Troy Walter, ??? Nelson, Byron Nelson, Rich Harper and Eddie Carter.
