BENTONVILLE (Special) - Mrs. Dona Frances Riddle, 77, died this morning in Joplin, Mo. at the home of a grand-nephew, Robert Lovell, with whom she had lived for the past nine years. Born January 2, 1884 in Austin, Tex. she was married to Louis Riddle in 1920 and moved north of Cave Springs. She had lived in the Cave Springs and Bentonville area for the past 31 years. Mr. Riddle died in 1936.
Survivors are a step-daughter, Mrs. Marie Latimer of Torrence, Calif.; a step-son, Tom Riddle, of Carlsbad, N.M.; a half-sister, Mrs. Dressie Schaffer and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday in the chapel of Burns Funeral Home in Bentonville by the Rev. Elza Boatman, pastor of House of Prayer of Rogers. Burial will be in Hart cemetery.
