Daughter of Jefferson Green "Jay" Arnold and Nancy Queen Rogers Arnold.

MELBOURN- Graveside services for Jacqueline Arnold Black Hunt of Melbourne will be at 2PM today at the Galatia Cemetery near Old Joe with the Rev. Denzill Stokes officiating. Mrs. Hunt died Saturday (Oct 5, 1996) at White River Medical Center in Batesville. She was 71.
Pallbearers will be Ronnie Adkisson, Howard Lamb, Fred Lamb, Eugene Barksdale, Doyne Langston and Son Lamb.
Mrs. Hunt worked as a telegraph operator for Western Union and as a doctor's receptionist for many years. She was born Dec 26, 1924, at Boswell, to Jay G. Arnold, Sr. and Nancy Q. Rogers Arnold. She was a member of the United Methodist Church of Melbourne.
She is survived by three sons, Roger Black of Oregon, Jay Black of Mt. Home and Jesse Hunt of Melbourne; a step daughter, Denise Hunt of Oregon; a brother, H. Rogers Arnold of El Paso, Texas, four sisters, Geneva Arnold Rodman of Lechville, Beverly Arnold Hurst of Blackberg, VA, Jaydine Morton of Guion and VaRue Guthrie of Melbourne; six grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Arrangements are by Quills Funeral Home of Cave City.
