Helen Arnold Fitzpatrick of Oxford, daughter of the late Griffin and Thelma Arnold, was born March 15, 1931, at Red's Landing. She died January 28, 1999, at Salem. She was 67.
Mrs. Fitzpatrick was united in marriage to Vernon Fitzpatrick on August 29, 1949, in Flippin. To this union two sons were born. She spent her life as a wife, mother, and homemaker.
Survivors included two son, Keith Fitzpatrick of the home, and Edward Fitzpatrick and his wife, Pamela, of Oxford; one sister Robbie May of Mt. Home; two brothers, Jack Arnold of Mt. Home, and Dr. Carl Arnold of Salem; seven grandchildren and one great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and one brother, Glen Arnold.
Graveside services were January 29, 1999, at Galatia Cemetery with Cecil Soper officiating. Pallbearers were Edward Fitzpatrick, Pamela Fitzpatrick, Jack Arnold, Dr. Carl Arnold, Keith Fitzpatrick, and Joshua Fitzpatrick.
Arrangements were under the direction of Eddie's Family Funeral Home of Melbourne.
