PRATT, Floyd Verne - Floyd Verne Pratt, infant son of Mr. and Mrs. F.H. Pratt, died Wednesday morning August 18, 1920 at 11:30 after a few days illness from summer complaint, which terminated in brain fever. The little one was born August 17, 1919 and for just one year and one day the sunshine of his little presence dwelt in our home but God knew the little feet were too tender for the rough pathway of life so he summoned him home. Baby Verne had never been strong yet he made a brave little fight for life and while we sadly miss him from our midst we feel that God knew best in transplanting him, pure and free from sin, to bloom in His garden of flowers. He is survived by his parents, three sisters and three brothers, one sister having died nearly two years ago. Funeral services were conducted Thursday morning August 19th at the home by Rev. H.C. Hoy after which the little one was laid to rest in the Hart cemetery beside the sister who had gone before. Mr. and Mrs. Pratt.
