PRATT, Elizabeth MARSH - {from Pea Ridge} Mrs. Elizabeth Pratt died at her home near Elkhorn Tavern last week at the age of eighty-two. Mrs. Pratt leaves six living children to mourn her loss. Mrs. Pratt has lived on the home place for over sixty years.

(from Central) Aunt Betsey Pratt died September 2nd and was buried the following day in the Pratt cemetery. She was 82 years old the 17th of last April and has resided in this immediate neighborhood nearly all her life. Aunt Betsey never turned anybody away from her door hungry. The writer has known her for 45 years. She was a good Christian woman and didn't have an enemy as far as we know. She leaves 4 boys and 3 girls to mourn her death.

Elizabeth Marsh was born April 16th, 1837. She was married to Jonathan Pratt July 28, 1856 at Brightwater. She is survived by 4 sons and 2 daughters, as follows: John Pratt, Joplin, Mo.; Lewis Pratt, White Deer, Tex.; Wm. Pratt and J.W. Pratt, of Garfield; Mrs. C.R. Hill, Aurora, Mo.; and Mrs. A. Voltz of Garfield with whom she made her home from the time of her widowhood until her death. She professed a hope in Christ when a young girl, united with the Freewill Baptist church at Liberty schoolhouse and lived a devoted Christian life. She was laid to rest in the Pratt cemetery to await the resurrection morning. J.V. Bilberry.
