Daughter of James H. "Jim" & Frances "Fannie" Cromer Smith.

Funeral Services are scheduled for 3PM today (Thursday) at the Cotter Assembly of God Church for Mrs. Mallissie E. Vickrey, 92, widow of the late William H. Vickrey. A former resident of Cotter, Mrs. Vickrey died Sunday at Wichita, KS, where she had lived since 1962.
The daughter of Jim Smith and Fannie Brown Smith, Mrs. Vickrey was born Aug 19, 1880, at Marietta, GA and spent most of her life in Baxter County. She was married April 6, 1899, and had been widowed since March 13, 1956. She was a member of the Pentecostal Church.
Survivors include a son, Ray of Live Oak, CA; two daughters, Mrs. Ruby Poynter of Wichita and Mrs. Lucy Reynolds of Cotter; a Brother, Lewis Smith of Norfork; a sister, Mrs. Lizzie Arnold of Okmulgee, OK; 16 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren.
Rev. George Royce of Cotter will officiate at today's service and Mrs. Vickrey's grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Interment will be in the Fairview Cemetery at Buford, under the direction of the McClure Service.

Note: The surname is spelled Vickery in numerous places.
