Mrs. Julia M. Deaton, 81, Prairie Grove, died Dec. 13 at Gravette Medical Center. Born Oct. 5, 1894, at West Fork, she was the daughter of Boyd P. and Mary Cobb Richardson.
Survivors include three sons, Raymond Deaton, Seminole, Okla., Boyd Deaton, West Fork, and Keith Deaton, Olathe, Kan.; four daughters, Mrs. Edna Bartholomew, Prairie Grove, Mrs. Louella McBay, Kansas City, Mo., Mrs. Imogene Odens, Overland Park, Kan., and Mrs. Norma Lea Hardy, Anaheim, Calif.; three sisters, Mrs. Ida Gooding, Disney, Okla,, Mrs. Zona Baker, West Fork, and Mrs. Alice McClellan, Bethalto, Ill.; 20 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held today at 2 p.m. in New Sulphur Baptist Church with the Rev. Harold Bartholomew officiating. Burial was in Zinnamon Cemetery under the direction of Luginbuel Funeral Home of Prairie Grove.
