The Baxter Bulletin
October 5, 1928
Roxie Ann (Davis) Haney was born November 16, 1893, died Sept 18, 1928. Was just in the bloom of life, when God saw fit to call her home. She leaves a husband and 7 children, also three sisters, father and a host of relatives and friends to mourn her death. She was only sick one short week and then passed on to her redeemer. It seems so hard to give her up, as she was needed so bad in her home, but God knows best so we in our weakness must submitt our home and let all strive to live better lives so we will be ready for the summons up there when God says it is through. May He be with this father, that he truly may be, both mother and father to the little ones left behind and bring them up in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior.
