GAMBLE, Artie Hardy - (from Pea Ridge) Mrs. Artie Gamble, who has been in poor health for some time, died last Thursday night at the home of her son, Earl Hardy, near Avoca. The remains were brought to Pea Ridge Friday and the funeral services were conducted by Rev. P. Carnahan at the Presbyterian Church after which the body was interred in the Pea Ridge Cemetery. Aunt Artie, as everyone called her, was loved by all, old and young, as was shown by the large crowd that attended her funeral. She was seventy-five years old.
