Carlie 0. Brumley, 88, of Farmington died Monday, Oct. 3, 1994, at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville.

Born Sept. 21, 1906, at Kendell, Ky., the son of William R. and Sarah E. Carnes Brumley, he was a retired farmer and a Baptist. He was married to Emma Elaine Brumley.

Survivors are three sons, James Brumley of Farmington, Leland Brumley of New Bedford, Mass., and Wayne Brumley of Fayetteville; two daughters, Margaret Daniel of Berryville and Wanetta Towler of Fayetteville; a half sister, Lizzie Ballenger of Sonora; 19 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Farmington Cemetery with the Rev. Walter Jesser officiating.

Visitation will be from 2 to 7 p.m. today at Moore's Chapel.
