PAGE, Walter - Walter Page, son of D.W. Page and wife, was born at Milan, Mo., June 25th, 1888, died at Sulphur Springs, Ark., September 6th, 1911, aged 23 years, 2 months and 12 days. The funeral services were held at the Presbyterian church Saturday at 10 a.m. conducted by Rev. Dr. Sturgis. During the services at the church the bank and practically every business house in town was closed and the attendance at the church was very large. Dr. Sturgis preached a strong and able sermon that was full of consolation for the bereaved relatives and abounded in sound advice to the attending friends. Among those present at the funeral was Mrs. Geo. Whaley of Cheyenne Wells, Colo., a sister of the deceased; Miss Andrews of Green City, Mo., a sister of Mrs. Page; and Milton Andrews of Green City, Mo., a brother of Mrs. Page. Mrs. Whaley will remain for a few days visiting relatives. The interment took place at the Grand Army cemetery.
