PAGE, Mrs. Dan W. - Mrs. Dan W. Page, a resident of Sulphur Springs for many years, died in a hospital in Joplin last Friday following an operation. She had been in ill health for some time. Interment was made in Sulphur Springs. Surviving are her husband and three sons: Clyde Page of Dalhart, Texas; Max of Kansas City and Duane of Berger, Texas; also five daughters: Mrs. George Whaley of Sulphur Springs; Miss Georgia Page of Kansas City; Mrs. Dixie Johnson of Loveland, Colo. and Mrs. Clarke Hoyle of Spiro, Okla. (only four named). Mrs. Page was long identified with community work in Sulphur Springs and besides being the first woman to be a member of the school board was an active worker in the Civic Improvement Club of which she was president for several years.
