Friday, May 31, 1918
Mrs. John Carr, who has been suffering for some time from blood poisoning in one of her arms, died Friday, May 17, 1918. Fredonia Bookout was born July 4, 1870; was married Jan. 7, 1891 to John Carr. Eight children were born to this union, all of which survive except one. Mrs. Carr has lived in this community for 22 years, professed religion in 1909 and united with the Holiness church and has been a true and faithful member. She was a patient and loving wife and mother and was loved by all who knew her. Rev. C.J. Goodwin conducted the funeral Sunday and burial was in Dow cemetery. The bereaved family have the sympathy of all.
