Son of Elijah David Richmond and Lena Eva (Milligan) Richmond.
BOONEVILLE, Miss. -- Willie Richmond, 74, of Booneville, formerly of Paragould, died Tuesday, March 12, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Booneville. Born at Saffell, he had lived in Booneville for seven years.
He was a retired paver who worked for Atlas Asphalt and was of the Pentecostal belief.
Survivors include one daughter, Sue Timmons of Paragould; one sister, Mary Ann Knight of Booneville; one brother, Columbus Richmond of Marshall; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lottie Richmond, a son, three brothers and two sisters.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Gregg Funeral Home chapel in Jonesboro, with the Rev. Columbus Richmond officiating. Burial will follow at Lincoln Ward Cemetery at Strawberry.
Active pallbearers will include Eugene Haskin, Jonathan Haskin, Jason Green, Jeremy Cole, Shane Driskill and Nathan Whitt.
Honorary pallbearers will include Justin Doss, Robby Michael, Jeff Richmond, Shannon Simms and Todd McLaughlin.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
