Betty Sue (Nunnally) Smith the daughter of William Narl Nunnally and Clara Marie (Pickney) Nunnally. Terrell Herschel Smith the son of Thomas Hatcher Smith and Helen (Kell) Smith.
Terrell Herschel Smith
Terrell Herschel Smith, 84, of Walnut Ridge, died Jan. 6, 2013, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.
Born April 30, 1928, in Imboden, he was the son of Thomas Hatcher and Helen Kell Smith. He was a teacher, principal and superintendent and had been affiliated with Hoxie, Sloan-Hendrix, Piggott, Rector and Biggers-Reyno schools. He was a U.S. Navy veteran and attended the United Methodist Church and the Church of Christ.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Sue Nunnally Smith; a sister, Eva Robert; and a brother, Gail Smith.
Survivors include a son, Terry Smith and wife Debbie, Imboden; three daughters, Sandra Ridenhower, Paragould, Helen Smith, Walnut Ridge, and Suzanne Jones and husband Chuck, Conway; two brothers, Vernan Kell Smith, Wichita, Kan., and Beryl Smith, Dekalb, Ill.; four grandchildren, Johnny Ridenhower, Carrie Bryson, April Morgan and Heather Briggs; and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral is Friday at 2 p.m. at Bryan Funeral Home with Wayne Herring officiating. Burial will be in Hope Cemetery at Imboden.
Pallbearers will be Austin Morgan, Lynn Robert, Tom Robert, Nelson Nunnally, Terry Ryan and Matthew Ryan. Honorary pallbearers will be Trent Geurin, Daniel Ryan and Johnny Ridenhower.
Visitation is Thursday from 6-8 p.m.
