IMBODEN -- Wilene N. Poteet, 71, of Imboden died Wednesday, June 30, at St. Bernard's Medical Center.
Arrangements will be announced by House-Gregg Funeral Home of Walnut Ridge.

IMBODEN -- Funeral services for Wilene N. Poteet, 70, of Imboden, who died Wednesday, June 30, at St. Bernard's Medical Center, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday at Imboden Church of Christ.
Tim Wilkins will officiate, and burial will follow in Hope Cemetery at Imboden. House-Gregg Funeral Home of Walnut Ridge is in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers will include Joe Chappell, Rocky Chappell, Jordan Poteet, Jessie Poteet, Kyle Weisenbach and Slade Weisenbach.
Born at the Eaton community, she had lived in Union, Mo., before moving back to Imboden in 1974. She was retired from Wal-Mart, where she had worked for 22 years, and was a member of Imboden Church of Christ.
Survivors include her husband, Everett Dean Poteet of the home; a daughter, Jimene "Ne" Springer of St. Louis; four stepsons, Shannon Poteet, Thomas Poteet and Carl Poteet, all of Imboden, and Wendell Poteet of Ravenden; three sisters, Freeda Johnson of Imboden, Retta Sellers of St. Louis and Yvonne Fielden of St. Charles, Mo.; a brother, Eugene Chappell of Eureka Springs; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Bessie Chappell, and three brothers.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
