Happy's parents were George Lee Fooks and Mary Emaline Hill Fooks; Clara's parents were Amos Carson Clements and Nellie Simpson Clements.
FOOKS, Clara
IMBODEN, ARKANSAS: Clara Elizabeth Fooks, 91, died March 20, 2003. She was born July 13, 1911 to Amos and Nellie Simpson Clements.
She owned Clara's Dress Shop in Imboden, and attended Lone Oak Baptist Church in Ravenden.
She is survived by a daughter, Clara Nell Counts of Pocahontas; a sister, Bonnie Penn of Smithville; 3 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband E.G. "Happy" Fooks; two sons, Amos Lee Fooks and Lawrence Glen Fooks; and a sister, Marie Fooks.
Burial was at Hope Cemetery with arrangements by Higginbotham Funeral Service.
