Lorraine Coverdale, 80
SALEM - Lorraine Coverdale of Elizabeth, daughter of the late William Donahue and Mae Fern Maupin Donahue, was born April 18, 1926, in Omaha, Neb. She died Thursday, Oct. 5, 2006, at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis at age 80 years, 5 months and 17 days. A graveside memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at Custer-Herron Cemetery at Henderson under the direction of Cox-Blevins Funeral Home of Salem.
She was united in marriage to Robert Coverdale on Dec. 28, 1946, in Omaha. To this union, three children were born. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her children, Karen Jackson and husband, Dale, of Elizabeth, Nancy Glenn and husband, Donny, of Lawrenceville, Ga., and Coop Coverdale and wife, Sharon, of Mountain Home; grandchildren, Craig and Matt Jackson, Stephanie (Robertson) Glenn, Ryan and Jeffrey Glenn and Cheyne and Cayley Coverdale; great-grandchildren, Luke, Leah Mae and Cate Jackson; brother Vic Donahue of Tucson, Ariz.; and sister, Jeanne Connor of Des Moines, Iowa. She was preceded in death by her husband, a sister and her parents.
