Funeral services for Mrs. Mattie Lois Martin, 62, of Norfork, who died Thursday of last week at a Fort Worth, TX, hospital following a long illness, were held at 1PM Monday in the Church of Christ at Norfork with Bob Henley officiating.
Mrs. Martin, a member of the Church of Christ since the age of 13, was the daughter of the late Isaac Riley and Mary Elizabeth Luther. She was born here on January 24, 1895, and was the youngest of seven children.
In 1920 she was married to Charles Brewer Martin and had been a resident of Norfork for 30 years.
Survivors include her husband, Charles; a son, Norris Luther of Fort Worth, TX; two grandchildren; a sister Fannie and a step brother, Oscar. Interment was in the Norfork Cemetery, with the Roller Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
