December 9, 1969, Mountain Home, Arkansas from injuries received in an automobile accident in St. Louis, Missouri. Her husband also died from injuries recived in the accident; however, he lived until January 5, 1971.

Wife of Elmer Louis Howard.
Daughter of John Lester Sutton & Martha Ann Huck Sutton.

Mrs. Edith Lenore Howard, 70, of Norfork, died Tuesday at a Mt. Home nursing home. She was the wife of E.L. Howard and had resided in Baxter Count since 1954.
Funeral services are scheduled for 1PM tomorrow (Friday) at the Memorial Chapel. Rev Obie I. Ford, pastor of the East Side Baptist Church of Mt. Home, will officiate and interment will be in the Norfork Cemetery, under the direction of the Memorial Funeral Service.
The daughter of the late John Lester Sutton and Martha Ann Huck Sutton, Mrs. Howard was born August 25, 1899, at Osawatomie, KS.
In addition to her husband, of Norfork, she is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Shirley Shelton of CA and Mrs. Jean LaJoie of North Kansas City, MO; four brothers, Lee Sutton of Westminster, CA, Glen Sutton of Osawatomie and Burt Sutton Chanute, KS; and four grandchildren.
