MAYFIELD, Polly - Polly Mayfield was born Aug. 1842. She was the daughter of Rev. James Mayfield, who died in 1865, and Matilda Mayfield {nee Jones} who died in 1893. Our beloved sister, Polly, has lived nearly all her life at this place, Macedonia, Ark. and departed this life March 10, 1902. She was converted in early life and joined the M.E. Church, South and ever since she has lived a consistent, christian life. We shall miss her. She was regular at church, regular at Sabbath School and always with a good word of encouragement to us younger people. Surely this world is better by her having lived in it and many of us feel that we are better by having known her. Arthur E. Watson.
