Mrs. Georgia E. Martin, 85, of Seminole, Tex., died Sunday after a long illness. She was born August 3, 1882 in Union County, the daughter of John and Maxie Cross Brillheart. She had moved to Texas from this area. She was a member of Calion Methodist Church. Survivors include three sons, Paul K. Martin of Lawson, Ross Martin of El Dorado, John Brillheart Martin of Lubbock, Tex.; one daughter, Miss Helen Martin of Seminole; one brother, Willie Brillheart of El Dorado; five sisters, Mrs. A. L. Wolfort of Honesboro, Mrs. Morgan Duke of Little Rock, Mrs. Cora Pagan of Huttig, Mrs. Glover Wooley and Mollie King, both of Smackover; 15 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Funeral arrangements will be announced by Young's. The family will be at the Paul K. Martin residence. (El Dorado Times - January 15, 1968)
