Mrs. Bettye Brown, 50, of 519 Liberty Street, died Tuesday in a local hospital following a brief illness. Born in Camden, on April 28, 1918, she was the daughter of Albert and Estell Perry Meadows. Surviving are her father, Albert Meadows, El Dorado; two sisters, Mrs. Rosie Henderson, Richmond, California, and Mrs. Beulah Edwards of Pittsburg, California. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of Sims Mortuary with the Rev. J. W. Robinson officiating. Burial will follow in Lott Burgy Cemetery under the direction of Sims Mortuary.
