Peggy L. Chambers, age 76, of Nashville, Arkansas passed away on Sunday, January 19, 2025 in Dierks, Arkansas. She was born April 30, 1948 in Lansing, Michigan the daughter of the late James Raymond Coleman and Mary Gillespie Coleman.

Peggy was a member of the Biggs Chapel First United Methodist Church in Nathan. During her career she served as Social Director for several years at Colonial Nursing Home in Nashville. Some of her favorite hobbies included sewing, doily crocheting, and corning ware, sharing recipes daily from pintrest to her daughters, watching The Voice, Dallas Cowboys, and eating Chinese food.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Jerry “Bubba” Chambers, son in law Richard Schooley, and a brother in law Bud McRoy.

Survivors include her three daughters Stacy Schooley of Tollette, Kelly (Robbie) Sanders of Mineral Springs and Dusty Chambers Nuttall of Nashville, grandchildren Brandon (Amanda) Puryear of Nashville, Hailey (Poncho) Needham of Ben Lomand, Kelby (Jeremy) Meshell of Hot Springs, Brylee and Alana Nuttall of Nashville, Kristy (Biff) Lowery of Lockesburg, Nick Sanders of Little Rock, James Schooley of Tollette, Charles Schooley, and Beth (Kenny) Harris of Malvern; great grandchildren Tucker Bernard, Clee Needham, Charli Needham of Ben Lomand, Hudson Meshell of Hot Springs, Kye Lowrey and Elliott and Kaidem Harris; her sister-in-law Mary Ann McRoy of Saratoga; her brother Steve (Judy) Coleman of Dierks; her son Gerome Hill of Nashville; her loving cousins, Barbara McCoy, Kathy Warren, Joan Harring, Amy Hanney, nieces and nephews Ruth Lively, Carman Malloy, Robert Chambers, Michelle Price, Doc Chambers, Tammy Stone, Delia Hendrix, Holly Barone, Brandy Perches, Jamie Holiday, James Coleman, and Buddy Coleman. Her best friend Lois Evans, as well as a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 21, at Latimer Funeral Home in Nashville,

Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 22, at Ozan Cemetery at Bingen, with Larry McKinnon officiating, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home in Nashville.

Memorials may be made to the Garrett Jones Memorial Scholarship Fund at any First State Bank location.
