Margaret Sehon, 89, of Huttig, died Thursday, Jan. 29, 2009, at Medical Center of South Arkansas following a long illness. Born on Dec. 20, 1919, in Bradley County, she was the daughter of Joe and Ora Wooley Wheeler. A homemaker, Margaret was the oldest member of Harper Springs Missionary Baptist Church and had served as a Sunday School teacher and with the Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed reading, fishing, and Gospel music. Margaret also worked as a volunteer with the Senior Citizen Center in Huttig and as a Pink Lady at Warner Brown Hospital. She worked for several years as an LPN at Smackover Nursing Home. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents; seven brothers and sisters; a son, Ray Sehon; a daughter-in-law, Dawn Kessler; and her husband, Watson Sehon. Survivors are a daughter, Jayne Graves of Huttig; grandchildren, Jenni Graves (Michael Marsh), Mara Glasow (Bruce), Darren Kessler, and Troy Kessler; four great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; special friends, Cindy Tinsley and Devin Osgood; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 1, at Harper Springs Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Joe Tinsley officiating. Interment will follow in the church's cemetery. The family will be at Jenni Graves' residence, 153 Russell Road, Huttig, and will receive friends from 5 until 8 p.m. today at Bailey Funeral Home.
