Meadows M. Howard, 92, of Spiro passed away Monday, July 18, 2011 in a Fort Smith hospital.

He was a building contractor and attended Harvest Times Tabernacle.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Hargrove Howard.

He is survived by one son, Don Howard and his wife, Emma of Palm Springs, California; one daughter, Linda Howard and husband Jim of Spiro; two sisters, Babe Woodard of Pocola and Tom Clark of Pocola; 10 grand children and 14 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, July 23 at McConnell Funeral Home in Greenwood with burial at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Fort Smith.

Honorary Pallbearers will be David Howard, Jimmie Howard, Dough Howard, Evan Howard, Steve Brackett, Scott Householder, Jason Smith and Kriss Bowers.
