Zora Maude Madera Calvert, age 86 of Warren, AR, passed from this life on June 26, 2015, at the home of her son, Tim. She was a member of the Martin Street Church of Christ in Warren. Zora spent much of her life serving her family and maintaining a home for her husband and 5 sons. Growing a large vegetable garden and canning a lot of its produce occupied much of her time, when her sons were at home. She was the wife of the late Edward Calvert for nearly 65 years. Zora was the youngest, and last surviving of 7 children of the late Wiley Ellis and Edna Dalton Madera. Her siblings were: Thelma, Marian, Lawrence, Mabel, Geanette, and John Dalton Madera. Zora and Edward had 5 sons: Eddie and Debbie of Little Rock, Don(deceased) and Fran of Monticello, Tim and Conny of Greenbrier, Dean of Little Rock and Gene of Warren, who lived with and assisted Mom and Dad for several years while their health was failing. They had 9 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Funeral service was 2:00 p.m. Monday June 29, at Frazer's Chapel with Joe Calvert officiating. Burial was in Oakland Cemetery by Frazer's Funeral Home. Active pallbearers were Keith Calvert, Paul Calvert, Chris Lampkin, Randall Hoffman, Billy Haynes and Gary Haynes.

Pershing Edward Calvert, age 93, of Warren died on Sat., March 31. He was retired from Potlatch Corporation, a veteran of WWII and a member of the Martin St. Church of Christ in Warren. Among his interests were horses, motorcycles, music and most of all spending time with his family. Mr. Calvert was preceded by his parents, Louie and Lela Calvert, one brother, Harrell Calvert, one sister, Sybil Haynes, and one son, Don Calvert. He is survived by Zora Calvert his wife of 65 years, four sons, Eddie Calvert ( Debbie) of North Little Rock, Tim Calvert (Conny) of Greenbrier,
Dean Calvert of Little Rock, and Gene Calvert of Fordyce, 10 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. He is also survived by 5 brothers and sisters, Delbert Calvert, Howard Calvert, Meta Mills, Jean Briant, and Jerry Neely. Funeral services were 11:00 a.m. Monday April 2, at Frazer's Chapel. Burial was in Oakland Cemetery by Frazer's Funeral Home. Active pallbearers were Keith Calvert, Paul Calvert, Joe Calvert, B.J. Gordon, Chris Lampkin and Jeff Knapp.
