Edward Havis Nutt, 64, of Warren, died June 3, 2002, at John L. McClellan Veterans Administration Memorial Medical Center at Little Rock.
Born March 28, 1938, at Ferda, he was a son of the late Major Havis Nutt and Mable Brown Nutt.
He was a retired police officer and a member of Southside Baptist Church. He also served in the Army.
He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Bearl Curbow; two brothers, George W. "Bill" Kelley and Billy Joe Curbow.
Survivors include his wife, Marie Raney Nutt, whom he married January 27, 1970; one stepson, Billy Dean Clay of Ingalls (Bradley County); one daughter, Tammy Deal of Monticello; two stepdaughters, Brenda Slaughter and Barbara Clay, both of Warren; one brother, Leslie Curbow of Pine Bluff; one sister, Sandra Herrell of Azle, Texas; two grandchildren; and 10 stepgrandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Frazer's Funeral Home. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery at Warren.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
