Nevada County Picayune - December 31, 1915 - Prescott, Arkansas
Robert Marloin (sic) was borned in Nevada County the 22 day February,1887. He departed this life December 4, 1915, age 28 years 9 months and 12 days old. He leaves a loving wife, two children, father, four sisters and two brothers, many relatives and friends to mourn his death. Be true to God loved ones and we will meet Robert in the sweet bye and bye. He was wrecked with pain and scorched with fever five long weeks, with that dreadful typhoid fever, till God called him to his sweet home above. He said all he was dreading was leaving his precious wife and little children in this old world of sorrow but weep not dear ones Robert will be watching for you at the beautiful gates. He lived to die, he died to live again. Robert professed faith in Christ and joined the missionary Baptist Church at Shady Grove some 15 years ago. And by neglect of duty grew cold, and 6 years ago he renewed faith in Christ and united with the Methodist Protestand Church at Boughton, and has lived a consecrated life until death claimed him as its victim. He was living at Riverside, Texas when he died and his body was brought back to Prescott and was laid in the Piny Grove Cemetery to await the resurrection of the just. Fare well Robert till we meet in that world. Written by his uncle, I. J. Ursery, Prescott, Ark. December 27, 1915
