Mr. Tom Jester, age 79 of Boughton, Arkansas passed away, Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at his home. He was born in Antoine, Arkansas on August 13, 1937 to Doyle and Maggie Winderleen McNeil Jester. Tom is retired from the Nevada County Road Department and had done construction work, where he worked with concrete and he is of the Christian faith. He was the founding member of the Jester Hunting Club Tom is preceded in death by his parents Doyle and Maggie Jester, a son; Doyle Jester, and a brother; Jim Jester.
Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Dottie Tucker Jester of Boughton, three sons; Tommy Jester, wife Donna of Baton Rouge, LA, Steve Jester wife; Juanita of Prescott, and Eddie Jester, wife, Cassandra of Magnolia, Texas, one brother; Bobby Joe “Pete” Jester, wife Catherine of Boughton and a sister-in-law; Judy Jester, also of Boughton, five grandchildren: Kimberly Jester, Jonathon Miller, Kayla Jester, Violet Jester and Evelyn Jester and one great-grandchildren, other family member and friends.
Visitation is 6:00 to 8:00pm on Friday, July 21, 2017 at BRAZZEL/Cornish Funeral Home 1196 Hwy 371 West in Prescott, AR.
Funeral service is 2:00pm on Saturday, July 22, 2017 at BRAZZEL/Cornish Funeral Home, with Rev. Jerry G. Westmoreland officiating. Burial will be in Piney Grove Cemetery in Boughton. Arrangements are by BRAZZEL/Cornish The Funeral Home of Prescott, Eddie BRAZZEL, Director.
