Billie O'Reita Nottenkamper

Billie O'Reita Whitecotton Ross Nottenkamper, 80 of Greenbrier, died Saturday, September 26, 2009 at Greenbrier Nursing Home. She was born September 6, 1929 in Belleville, a daughter of the late David and Lessie Whitecotton. A graduate of Danville High School, she attended Arkansas Tech University. She completed nurse's training at Baptist Hospital in Little Rock and received a bachelor's degree in nursing from Stephens College in Columbia, Ohio. She was a member of 65th Street Missionary Baptist Church in Little Rock.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a stepfather, Bob Buford of Chickalah; sister Ruby Jankowski of Little Rock, a step-brother, Robert Buford also of Chickalah; and by her husband, John Nottenkamper of East End.
She is survived by one sister, Pauline Meyers of Little Rock; four children, Billie Ann Jurgerson and husband, David, of Mansfield Texas, David Ross and wife Cindy of Greenbrier, Joyce Jones and husband Scott of Burleson, Texas and Janie Ginocchio and husband Billy of Paragould; four grandchildren, Stephen Jurgerson, Jacob and Alyssa Ross, and Isabella Ginocchio as well as several nieces and nephews, step-children and step-grandchildren.
The family would like to give special thanks to the staff of Greenbrier Rehabilitation and Nursing Home for their love and care.
Funeral services will be 12:00 noon Tuesday, September 29, 2009 at Roller-Drummond Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Joel Grenier officiating. Interment will be at Pinecrest Memorial Park. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 P.M., Monday, September 28 at Roller Drummond Funeral Home, 10900 I-30 in Little Rock (455-5800).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Cancer Society, 901 N. University, Little Rock, Arkansas 72203.
