*When Edwin J Pyne was born on February 26, 1916, in Chicago, Illinois, his father, Edwin, was 29 and his mother, Margaret, was 28. He married Eva Schauer and they had two children together. He then married Reba Lucille Black on August 14, 1970, in Las Vegas, Nevada. He died on January 26, 1995, in Arkansas at the age of 78, and was buried in Alexander, Arkansas.

Reba Lucille (Black) Ramsey, 78, of Benton, passed away Wednesday, November 5, 2008. She was born on January 26, 1930 at Bagnall, MO to the late Coy Eugene and Fannie (Allen) Black. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her previous husband, Edwin J. Pyne,one son; Michael Rasburry, two brothers; Clarence Black and Vernon Black, one sister; Eunice Shepard, one grandson; Richard Lee Tedford, Jr.

Mrs. Ramsey was a homemaker and a retired LPN/Mental Health Nurse from the State of California, Arkansas Human Development Center at Alexander, and Regional Nursing Center.

Survivors include her husband; James "Olean" Ramsey of Benton, two daughters; Jan Tedford and husband Rick of Benton and Robbin Dohm and husband, Mike of Benton two stepsons; Kenneth Ramsey and wife MaryAnn of Hawthorne, NV, Jim Pyne and wife Judy of Frankfort, Ill, one step son-in-law; Pat Sabo of Peoria, AZ, six grandchildren; Marissa Tedford, Cassie Dohm, Danny Dohm, Brandy Rasburry, Jason Rasburry, Gabriel Rasburry-Day, several great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Friday, November 7, 2008 in the Roller-Ballard Funeral Chapel with Bro. Kim Hammer and Bro. Jason Tallent officiating. Interment will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Park at Alexander. Visitation will be held from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M., Thursday, November 6, 2008 at Roller-Ballard Funeral Home (315-4047).

Pallbearers are Charles Shepard, Jimmy Shepard, Mark Tedford, Jimmy Hawthorne, Olan King, Dan Billingsley. Honorary Pallbearers will be Harold Radican and Chuck Webb.
