Othel Gann Harrison, 93, of Arkoma, Oklahoma passed away on Tuesday, January 3, 2017 in a local nursing home.
He was born on November 17, 1923 in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
He was the owner and operator of Harrison Market in Arkoma, a member of over 60 years and deacon for 51 years of Arkoma First Baptist Church and a former volunteer fireman for the Arkoma Fire Department. He was preceded in death by his wife Mamie Harrison and eight brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be at 10:00Am, Friday, January 6, 2017 at Arkoma First Baptist Church with burial to follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Ocker-Putman Funeral Home of Fort Smith, Arkansas.
He is survived by his daughter, Pyper Swan and her husband Tom of Tulsa, Oklahoma; one grandson, Gann Harrison Swan of Tulsa, OK and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers are Gann Harrison Swan, Randy Harrison, Richard Schmuck, Tom Parker, Danny, Tyson, Zachary and Jayce Sullins.
Honorary pallbearers are the Deacons of Arkoma First Baptist Church.
