June 14, 1916 - March 22, 2005
Wayne Harris, 88, of Fort Smith died Tuesday, March 22, 2005, in Fort Smith. He was a retired bus driver for Jefferson Bus Lines, a member of Immaunuel Baptist Church and past president of the Fort Smith Lions Club. Funeral service will be 2 p.m. today at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Woodlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home. He is survived by his wife, Maxine; one daughter, Nancy Montgomery of North Little Rock; two sons, Bill W. Harris of Fort Smith and Robert G. Harris of Booneville; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Will Barnes, Drew Barnes, Dan Calloway, Dewayne Glidewell, John Glidewell and Walt Terry. Honorary pallbearers will be Immaunuel Baptist Sunday school class and Jefferson Bus Lines drivers.

Maxine Harris, 89, of Fort Smith died Sunday, Oct. 15, 2006, in Fort Smith. She was a retired Fort Smith Public School teacher, a member of Immanuel Baptist Church and the widow of Wayne Harris.
