*When Amos ASHCRAFT was born on January 24, 1884, in Benton, Arkansas, his father, Nimrod, was 37 and his mother, Sarah, was 37. He married Lena WITTENBERG Ashcraft on February 21, 1914, in Faulkner, Arkansas. They had four children in 13 years. He died on December 3, 1963, in Little Rock, Arkansas, at the age of 79, and was buried in Alexander, Arkansas.
When Lena WITTENBERG Ashcraft was born on August 31, 1890, in Alexander, Arkansas, her father, Fred, was 29, and her mother, Lou, was 21. She married Amos ASHCRAFT on February 21, 1914, in Faulkner, Arkansas. They had four children in 13 years. She died on July 17, 1979, in Benton, Arkansas, at the age of 88, and was buried in her hometown.
