Katherine Kaye Lane, age 82 of Murfreesboro, Arkansas passed away peacefully surrounded by her family Monday, September 23, 2024 in Murfreesboro. She was born January 14, 1942 in Woodall Valley the daughter of the late Erv Woodall and Austie Pauline Cox.
Mrs. Lane was a member of the First Christian Church in Murfreesboro. She was the most amazing woman. She was a true virtuous woman who was the kindest, most elegant and unselfish. Katherine loved to help anyone in need and loved to cook and passing that gift down to her children and grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband James Loyd Lane.
Survivors include; one son, Darren Lane and wife, Audra of Jacksonville, TX; one daughter, Jamie Cromer and husband, Clayton of Murfreesboro; grandchildren, Codi, Lacey, Sara, and Emily; great grandchildren, Gracie, Dixie, Draven, Jaxon, Triston, James, Harrison and Julian; one great-great grandchild Kora; one brother Clayton Robbins and wife Debbie of Mena, AR; as well as a number of nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m., on Saturday, September 28, at First Christian Church in Murfreesboro.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, September 28, at First Christian Church, with Rob Evans officiating, burial to follow in Murfreesboro Cemetery.
