Gwynneth Sweet Peterson, 67 of Junction City, AR, died Friday, November 19, 2010 at her home following a sudden illness.

Born on June 9, 1943 in Taylor AR; she was the daughter of James E. and Theo Nadine Waller Sweet. Gwynneth was a member of Corney Creek Baptist Church. She retired after 20 years with Foster and Ball Glass Co. in Simsboro, LA. Gwynneth loved her many nieces and nephews, she was very fond of Austin and Lakeon Thurmon. Gwynneth also enjoyed Louisiana Tech Athletics especially Lady Techsters Basketball.

Gwynneth was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband James Peterson.

Survivors are her sisters Barbara Ann Sweet, and Jill Rodgers and husband Keith, brothers Randall Sweet and wife Vickie, Jackie Sweet and wife Dianne, Jimmy E. Sweet, and Gregory Sweet and wife Trina all of Junction City, a stepdaughter Kathy Jordan and husband Tony, along with a granddaughter Sarah Jordan all of Simsboro, LA, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Monday at Corney Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Ernest McAdams officiating. Interment will follow at Jolley Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Bailey Funeral Home in El Dorado Sunday evening from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Memorials may be made to Life Touch Hospice, 2301 Champagnolle Road, El Dorado, AR 71730.
