Waylan Eugene Beaty , age 76, of North Little Rock passed away , Tuesday, January 30, 2007,
He was a member of Levy Baptist Church and volunteered at Baptist Medical Center, Springhill, Memorial Hospital and the old Baptist Hospital in North Little Rock.
Waylan was preceded in death by his parents. He was a loving and caring husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend.
He is survived by his wife, Elma Meritt Beaty; one son, Raymond Beaty of North Little Rock; one daughter Nancy Bryan and husband, Don of North Little Rock; two grandchildren, Jacob and Ian Bryan of North Little Rock; brother, Robert Beaty of Benton; sister Lillian Toney and husband Adolph of Bismark, AR; and host of family and friends
Funeral will be 1:00 P.M., Friday, February 2, 2007, at Levy Baptist Church, 3501 Pike Ave., North Little Rock, AR 72118 with Reverend Steve Tiner officiating. Interment will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 11: A.M. to 1 P.M., Friday in the Fellowship Hall at the Levy Baptist Church.
Arrangement made by Roller-Owens Funeral Home (791-7400).
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Levy Baptist Church.

Elma Lee Meritt Beaty, 83, graduated from North Little Rock High School, Class 1950, and was a member of the Levy Baptist Church and longtime member of Baring Cross Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, of 55 years, Waylan Eugene Beaty and her parents Elmer and Clara Nolen Meritt.
She is survived by son, Raymond Beaty; daughter, Nancy Bryan (Don); two grandsons and a sister, Rosemary Meritt.
