She is preceded in death by her parents; four sisters, Bonnie, Ruth, Oneta, and Billie Jean; four brothers, James, Clyde Lee, Newton, and William; son-in-law, Jeff Thurlkill; and her loving husband of 64 years Charles F. Sellers, Sr.

Mott was a well-known and beloved coach to many women, in many different sports in south Arkansas over the years. She was an avid athlete. She excelled in every sport she attempted. She was a brown belt in karate. During the summer months, you could find her on a softball field; and later in life, on the golf course. During the winter, she played basketball. She loved the Arkansas Razorbacks. She also loved Nick Saban, much to her family’s dismay. Mott was always up for a game of cards or dominos, putting a puzzle together, or coloring with her grandkids.
She was loved by many people. The people the family are most thankful for are Matt and Crystal Burton, Tonya Moore, and Nicey Davis; the wonderful ladies of Life Touch; Amelia Kirk-Jackson, Shelia Banks, Vanessa Love and Penne Galbraith, who cared for her, and all the Life Touch staff.
Mott was a beloved parent, grandparent, and great-grandparent. She was a devoted member of New Hope Baptist Church.
Her funeral service will be at 10:00am, Sunday, January 8, 2023 at New Hope Baptist Church, 825 Salem Road, Junction City, AR 71749, graveside following at Jolly Cemetery in Three Creeks, AR. A time of visitation will be held from 5:00pm-8:00pm Saturday, January 7, 2023 at Perry's Funeral Chapel in El Dorado, AR.
