JAMIE JO STONE PASSED AWAY MONDAY, OCTOBER 14TH, 2024 IN LUMBERTON, TX MRS STONE WAS BORN MARCH 6H, 1938 IN PIKE COUNTY TO CHARLES E. AND RUTH CARMEN HILL.
MRS. STONE WORKED MANY YEARS IN THEIR CHICKEN FARM AND RAISING CATTLE. OCCASIONALLY, MAKING RUNS IN THE OLE' DUMP TRUCK WHEN NEEDED. SHE WAS NOT AFRAID OF WORK. AS SHE GOT OLDER, SHE LOVED QUILTING, WORD SEARCH, PUZZLES AND A TRIP TO A CASINO EVERY ONCE IN A WHILE. SHE WOULD REMINISCE ABOUT HER GRANDCHILDREN AND FAMILY AND THE LOVE SHE HAD FOR ALL. MRS.STONE WAS A MEMBER OF THE CHURCH OF CHRIST OF MCCASKILL.
SHE IS SURVIVED BY HER CHILDREN, DEBBIE STONE BUTLER & HUSBAND WAYNE OF SOUR LAKE, TX. TWO SONS, DANNY STONE & WIFE ELAINE OF MCCASKILL, AR. DAVID STONE AND WIFE ALICIA OF TEXARKANA, TX. FOUR GRANDCHILDREN JODIE BUTLER, JILLI BUTLER,JACOB STONE AND CHASE STONE.
SHE WAS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY HER HUSBAND. HANSFORD STONE. MOTHER & FATHER AND SEVERAL SISTERS & BROTHER.
VISITATION WILL BE HELD WEDNESDAY OCTOBER 16TH FROM 6:00PM-8:00PM AND SERVICES WILL BE HELD THURSDAY, OCTOBER 17TH AT BRAZZEL OAKCREST FUNERAL HOME IN HOPE AR AT 10:00 AM. BURIAL WILL BE AT FRIENDSHIP CEMETERY OF MCCASKILL FOLLOWING SERVICE.
