Charles (Chas) Bryan Stewart, 80 years old, passed away peacefully September 13th, 2024, at his home in Jacksonville, Arkansas, which he shared with his wife, Sandra (Sandy) Wade Stewart of 20 years. He was born November 28th, in Shawnee Mission, Kansas.
Chas was a loving husband and father, as well as a good friend to many. Throughout his life, he enjoyed country western dancing, camping, and the shooting range. He embraced life and sought the positive, as evidenced with the twinkle in his eyes and ready laugh. He met Sandy doing what he loved, dancing. Together they graced many dance floors while meeting friends from all over the South. Together they navigated the beauty of the United States pulling their fifth wheel and camping from weeks on end.
With their busy lives, they always made time for family. Chas was a caring and compassionate father to Shelley Ann Moix and Lori Christine Stewart. From the time his daughters were born to the present, Chas was an intricately involved father/friend who guided them through the complexities of life with ready advice and a huge embrace. He also was very proud of his grandson’s: Justin Michael Moix, Alex Joseph Moix, and Mitchell Stewart Lachowsky.
Chas is also survived by Sandy’s family and one he loved as his own: Sandy’s son William (Richard) Wade II, and daughter Kara Kay Otis, as well as Sandy’s grandchildren; William (Will) Richard Wade III, Avery Claire Wade, Max Ethan Otis, and Witten Henry Otis.
In lieu of flowers to celebrate the life of Chas Bryan Stewart, the family asks for donations to the Park Hill Christian Church, 4400 JFK Boulevard, North Little Rock, Arkansas 72216, phone number 501-753-1109.
Arrangements by A Natural State Funeral Service 2620 West Main Street, Jacksonville, Arkansas 72076. 501-982-3400. Online guestbook available at www.anaturalstatefuneralservice.com
