Wanda Gayle Hutchins, 51, of Little Rock, after a 48 month battle successfully defeated cancer and went to be with her Savior on Saturday, March 17, 2007. She was born April 3, 1955 at Cleveland, Mississippi to Frances Inman and the late James Merman Inman. She was a member of Little Rock's First Baptist Church and a Sunday School teacher for three year-olds. Wanda received a B. S. in Education from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and a Masters of Education from the University of Arkansas. Wanda was an educator, serving the Pulaski County Special School District for 25 years, retiring as Director of Workforce Education.
She was preceded in death by her father, James Merman Inman and a sister, Allison West Inman.
Wanda is survived by her husband, Phillip Wesley Hutchins; a daughter, Kelsey Erin Hutchins of Little Rock; a son, Brian David Hutchins and his wife Christy of Austin, Texas; a granddaughter, Olivia Grace Hutchins of Austin, Texas; her mother, Frances Inman of West Helena and a brother, James Gary Inman of Wabash.
The funeral service will be at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, March 20, 2007 at Little Rock's First Baptist Church with Reverend William Tollett officiating. Interment will be at Pinecrest Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M., Monday at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home (501)224-8300.
